Large-scale LNG storage tanks are one of the important equipment for LNG terminals and factories. In the process of my country's energy structure transformation, the improvement of the design and construction of large-scale LNG storage tanks and the localization are very important, and the numerical simulation technology based on CAE technology is an indispensable and important means of tank verification calculation.
With the increase in demand for LNG, the development trend of LNG storage tanks is to become more complex and larger. At present, the capacity of the full-capacity storage tank has reached more than 200,000 square meters, the space size is close to 100 meters, and the structure is complex, including liquid, steel inner tank, insulation layer, reinforced concrete outer tank, ceiling, dome, pile foundation and other auxiliary structures. The large-scale LNG storage tank has a large temperature difference between inside and outside, which is a large-scale composite structure with a complex working environment. The temperature field, structural internal force, rigidity and strength have been calculated and checked.
The advantages of the large-scale LNG storage tank simulation analysis system are: 1. Full three-dimensional modeling. Models can include auxiliary structures such as cold insulation, steel bars, domes, inner and outer tanks, suspended ceilings, liquids, and pile foundations. The interaction between pile and soil and the direct coupling between various structures can be considered. 2. Fully parametric automatic modeling. The calculation report can be generated automatically. 5. Non-linear calculation. Anti-impact of foreign objects, failure and fracture analysis of tank structure, analysis of foundation bearing capacity, etc. 6. Structural optimization design. Based on the full-parameter model and mechanical calculations, the sensitivity analysis and optimization design of structural parameters are realized.
The full three-dimensional modeling and simulation analysis system for large-scale LNG storage tanks has been successfully applied to the calculation and verification of several large-scale LNG storage tanks in China, covering a volume of 160,000 to 270,000 cubic meters. Using the full three-dimensional modeling and simulation analysis system of large-scale LNG storage tanks, the calculation and combination and rapid modeling under various design conditions of the storage tank are realized, and the results of internal force, temperature, stress and deformation are obtained.
