随着中国经济的持续健康发展，能源的环保需求越来越受到重视。天然气是目前地球上可以大规模获取的清洁能源，未来有望成为主题能源。天然气主要有三种来源:管通道天然气、压缩天然气和液体天然气。天然气调压计量撬结构的组成：
液体天然气作为一种新型能源，近年来在中国得到了大规模的开发。液体天然气已成为城区、大型工业家庭和偏远地区优选的储备气源，是目前无法使用管通道供气的城区的主要或过渡气源，以及许多使用管通道供气的城区的补充或分子气源。液体天然气调压计量撬，简称LNG气化调压橇，是液体天然气广泛应用的终端设备。
调压计量撬由空气温度气化炉、调压控制部分和气味计量部分组成。空气气化炉将液态气化成气相，通过调压组将压力调整到0.4mpa左右，然后输出到城区燃气管网或独立住宅小区、中小型工业家庭和大中型公共建筑家庭。
调压计量撬是指主气化炉的气体气化，需要调整稳定。同时，为了测量贸易成本或设备成本，测量流量，为了实现上述功能的结合，研制了LNG气化调整压力计量台。根据客户要求，部分设备需要加装除臭系统。是否增设再热装置要考虑场地年平均温度。
调压计量撬是为满足城区独立居住社区、中小型工业家庭和大中型公共家庭每月用气需求而研制的天然气供应系统。除LNG储罐外，所有功能部件都集成在防滑座上。整个系统占地面积小，制造周期短，易于现场安装。整个系统的设计、制造、测试、调试、售后服务均由专业厂家完成，可靠方便。目前现场安装工作量小，只需连接进出口管通道和外部电气连接，操作维护方便，使用安全可靠，无须现场值班即可实现远程控制。
除满足传统调峰气和工业用气的需求外，逐渐成为交通运输的替代能源。液体天然气作为汽车燃料，具有安全、环保、经济等优点。汽车的优势和前景得到了业界的广泛认可，作为燃料的经济性成为其发展的源泉。对于城区居民来说，燃气调压计量撬具有以下优点:无须向规划部门申请划定红线位置，解决了调压站的征地选址问题;取消了所有街区的低压干管，降低了道路管通道位置的张力，节省了管网投资。采用中压输送，输送能力相同，管径减小，可节省大量成本;由于调压装置离家庭较近，家庭压力波动小，保证了家庭用气量的稳定性;调整井通风性能好，设备安装紧凑，总体维护比调整站少。
