The LNG storage tank is an ultra-low temperature vacuum insulated vessel, with a capacity typically ranging from 40 to 150 m3. The LNG ambient temperature vaporizer and BOG (EAG) electric heater are both composed of finned tube heat exchangers, with the former mainly used for LNG vaporization and the latter primarily for BOG (EAG) gas reheating. Natural gas itself is odorless, and according to regulations, it should be odorized, with tetrahydrothiophene being a suitable odorant.

The process principle:

1. "Ultra-low temperature storage, application at ambient temperature." The storage tank is designed to withstand an environmental temperature of -196°C (the melting point of LNG at ambient temperature is -162°C), while the outgoing natural gas temperature is required to be no less than 10°C above the working temperature.

2. The LNG storage tank, gate valve, and piping at the freight station have better insulation properties.

3. The equipment, pipelines, instruments, gate valves, and components in the ultra-low temperature area of the LNG site operate better under low-temperature conditions, and have good impact toughness, sealing, and corrosion resistance.

4. Vaporization equipment is required to withstand seismic disasters, endure strong typhoons, and meet design specifications to achieve the maximum vaporization flow rate.

5. Select pressure regulating equipment based on the scale of the LNG vaporization station. Generally, two pressure regulating devices are set up, with regulators using self-operated pressure regulators equipped with guides and overpressure disconnection.
