Storage tank structure and principle
At present, the low-temperature storage tanks that our company has built are all flat-bottomed arches, vertical double-walled structures, and the interlayer is made of pearl sand powder for heat insulation. The equipment is composed of inner tank, outer tank, bottom insulation layer, mezzanine insulation layer, equipment ladder platform, valve instrument and basic platform.
The inner tank is mainly composed of the tank top, the cylinder and the bottom plate. The material of each part is made of austenitic stainless steel. The entire inner tank can be fastened to the bottom foundation through the anchor belt, and at the same time, the inner tank can be prevented from being lifted under the action of lifting force. The bottom is convexly deformed.
The outer tank is mainly composed of a top cover, a cylinder and a bottom plate. The material of each part is carbon steel plate. The bottom plate of the outer tank is laid on the foundation platform, and the outer tank body is fastened to the foundation platform through the embedded steel plate.
Between the bottom of the outer tank and the bottom of the inner tank, foam glass bricks and a concrete load distribution board are laid as the bottom insulation layer, and the inner tank and liquid gravity are evenly distributed through the bottom insulation layer and transferred to the foundation platform.
The interlayer of the storage tank is filled with pearl sand powder as a thermal insulation layer, and the interlayer is filled with dry nitrogen to keep the insulation material dry to maintain the storage tank with good thermal insulation performance and low daily evaporation rate. An operating platform is set outside the tank, and valves and instrument panels are centralized on the operating platform, which is convenient for operation.
In order to ensure the safety of the storage tank in operation, the inner tank is equipped with safety devices, one is overpressure protection, the other is negative pressure protection, and two protection devices are installed in each of these two aspects:
① Road protection: Overpressure protection is a vent valve automatically controlled by the pressure on the top of the inner tank. When the pressure exceeds the set value, it will automatically discharge and release the pressure; for negative pressure protection, in order to prevent a large amount of cryogenic liquid from being output, the tank will appear Negative pressure, the storage tank is equipped with a self-pressurizing system, which can automatically replenish gas according to the pressure in the tank to maintain the positive pressure in the tank.
②The second protection is: the top of the inner tank is equipped with a breathing valve, that is, when the pressure exceeds the upper limit of the positive pressure, the safety valve opens to release the pressure, and when the negative pressure in the tank exceeds the set value, the safety valve opens to inhale the atmosphere to protect the storage Can. There is a breathing valve and an emergency vent valve on the top of the outer tank. The breathing valve is used to ensure that the interlayer maintains a slight positive pressure. It has both exhalation and inhalation functions. The emergency vent valve is used in emergency situations, that is, when the inner tank liquid leaks into the interlayer. A large amount of vaporization causes the pressure in the interlayer to rise rapidly, and the emergency vent valve is opened to relieve the pressure to prevent accidents. In addition to the above-mentioned safety devices, the storage tank is also equipped with level gauges, pressure gauges, analytical sampling valves and other instruments.
